These guided help videos are meant to be psycho-educational, not therapy. We hope it can provide an opening to better understanding yourself and your loved ones, and you can better evaluate if you need additional mental health support. 1. We recommend printing out and/or downloading the PDF handout to use as a guide for answering all discussion and follow up questions. Couples are encouraged to take notes on their responses, but it is not required.
2. The videos should be watched in the sequence recommended.
3. With each topic watch the instruction video first and engage in the activities or discussion questions related to that instruction video.
4. Watch the Guided Help video as a reference to see if you and your partner completed the activity as intended. The Guided Help videos are also intended to help couples gain additional insight and perspective from our volunteer couple (Alex and Makayla) and their interaction with the clinician.
